Following the success of the LC Coreopsis ‘23 Bench—finalist for the Green Product Award 2025— LOADS Collection again presents a new furniture this week at ROOTS Exhibition during Salone del Mobile.Milano: the LC Ottoman Walnut-Chamomile 24.
The principle of delen—Dutch for sharing—is woven through every step: from farmer to maker to user, building an ethical and transparent production chain.
Minimal in form, radical in essence, the LC Ottoman was designed by Machiel Hopman within a biodynamic framework. Its core structure is made from SAM Panels, developed from fast-growing grass fibers. These panels are lightweight, strong, and fully biodegradable, making the LC Ottoman a regenerative object from the inside out.
This year Studio Claudy Jongstra was inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's Last original Last Supper, creating a deep green colour. A blend of Wallnut and Chamolile from the harvest of the year 2024.
The LC Ottoman is upholstered with Demeter-certified SEKEM cotton —marking LOADS Collection to be the first textile label in the world based on biodynamic agriculture. This means a holistic farming approach that regenerates soil, strengthens biodiversity and works in rhythm with natural cosmic cycles.
