We are pleased to announce that the LC Coreopsis '23 Bench, designed by architect Machiel Hopman for Claudy Jongstra's LOADS Collection, has been selected as Green Product Award finalist 2025 for the category Interior & Lifestyle.
The LC Coreopsis '23 Bench is part of a furniture family that also includes a sofa and lounge chair. It blends traditional craftsmanship with sustainable luxury. A seating design combining recycled wood, natural dyes, and artisanal craftsmanship. Suitable for those valuing timeless, eco-conscious furniture. Telling a story through its materials: wood repurposed from window frames and cotton dyed with 2023’s Coreopsis harvest. Its patchwork seat, designed for repair, evolves with time, celebrating durability over disposability. Blending history, reparability, and circular design, it offers a sustainable alternative to fast furniture with time as its key ingredient.
The Bench premièred at ROOTS Exhibition during Salone del Mobile.Milano in April and was also shown at Kazerne during Dutch Design Week in October of this year.
