From 18-26 October 2025, we presented our installation 'Plantbased' at Piet Hein Eek during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven!

At ROOTS Exhibition we believe that design starts (and ends) in the soil. We return to DDW with ‘Plantbased’ as an award-winning platform redefining design’s relationship with nature. We ask: how can design grow from nature in a time when CO₂, biodiversity loss and ecological breakdown dominate the global agenda?

'Plantbased' explores the connections between what we grow, what we eat and what we create. Rethinking food, materials and design-mindset beyond extraction, toward renewal. In a living landscape filled with plantbased materials, objects and ideas, visitors are invited to slow down. Listen to what nature is telling us and reflect on the impact of our choices on the environment.

Our installation was not a protest, but a proposition: design differently, design with care and return what we use to the soil.
